YES. I KNOW I SPELLED CATEGORY WRONG. I lost the .psd file, so I can't fix it.
This stamp NEEDED to be made.
I really hate it when people say, "I'm not against gay people, I just hate yaoi!" That sentence doesn't make sense. Yaoi and shounen ai mean, "Boy love." If you're not against gay people then you aren't against yaoi! If you're going to say, "I hate yaoi" you have to be way more specific.
And I know what it is you all hate. You hate the fangirls who go around saying, "NARUTO AND SASUKE ARE TOTALLY LIEK GAY TOGETHER AND STUFF!!!!!11" That probably bugs you because, of course, they aren't ACTUALLY in love in the series.
But DON'T say, "I hate yaoi" if you truly are fine with gay people. Because in that case, you would probably enjoy a series were two boys were ACTUALLY together. You just don't like it when the fans pair people who aren't together.
So in reality, you don't hate yaoi -- you hate yaoi fangirls.
Which brings me to this stamp. Someone on YouTube found out that I liked yaoi and told me, "You like yaoi? I'm un-subscribing to your videos now."
They assumed I was one of those "perverted yaoi fangirls" that seem to annoy everyone in the universe.
Not everyone who likes yaoi is a "fangirl." I love yaoi, and I'm guilty of pairing characters together. But I don't shove it in people's faces like a "fangirl" does. If you don't like a pairing, I'm not going to comment on your deviantART listing all the reasons why you SHOULD like the pairing. Yes, I like yaoi. But if someone truly doesn't like yaoi, or truly doesn't like a pairing that I support then THAT'S OKAY!
I may draw fanart occasionally for my favorite non-canon pairing, but I'm not going to force it on you. I understand if you don't support the pairings I like. I'm not expecting you to.
Please don't lump all of the yaoi fans into one catagory. And please stop saying you hate "yaoi" if you really don't. I'm sure most of you who claim you hate yaoi are fine with series like Gravitation and Loveless, because it's canon. Just be more specific if you're going to flame someone, because you come off as a homophobe when you say, "I hate yaoi."

What an awesome fan!! I love Yaoi when it makes sense, like i really dont like narusasu but thats just me. But what I hate more than anything is when I get in a debate with for example a naruhina fan and as an arguement they call me a fan girl and that because I'm a fan girl my opinion is void! its like wtf? I'm not one of those fans that only likes male characters for their looks! lol sorry for ranting but that just really pisses me off, so thanks for the stamp!!
you did..you did what i have been trying to get around for the longest time..thank you so much..just ealier i was put into the stereotype of the fangirl..and i felt like crap...maybe your wonderful stamp will get people to relize that just because i am a girl that likes yaoi..does not mean i am one of those stereotypes of fangirls..thank you..
